I am Dean R. Bender a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, Utah, and Idaho
I accept all types of clients but most of my experience has been with the LDS community.
The majority of people I work with fit into two broad categories:
- Couples trying to smooth out some rough spots or trying to save their marriage, and
- Individuals with mood disorders: depression, anxiety, anger, grief or despair.
There are two other categories that are a significant part of my practice:
- Helping people through life transitions, e.g. death of a loved one, divorce, and other major changes.
- Helping teens and young adults with their parents, going off to school, premarital counseling and career decisions.
